英语不是我们的母语，所以对大多数人来说，学习由26个简单英文字母组合而成的复杂英语还是一件挺头痛的事情。但是我想要说，其实觉得学习英语头痛的人还是没有掌握学习英语的方法，只要方法正确了，又有坚持学会英语的决心，那么又怎么能学不会呢？
学习英语的重要性，我想应该不需要做过多的阐释，相信每个从大学毕业出来的过来人都明白，尤其是在当下全球金融危机中，要寻找一份稳定的工作越来越属不容易了。在金融危机面前，能力的重要性就彰显出来了。没有能力的人通常都会遭到淘汰，而有能力的人则能稳居职位甚至还能有所提升。一言以蔽之：物竞天择，适者生存，劣者淘汰。
想劝告每一位还在学校念书的同学们，除了学习好相关课程之外，尤其要多花功夫学习英语，把英语真真正正、扎扎实实给学好。我相信，当有一天你坐在高高的职务上，坐在办公室的沙发上，悠然地喝着龙井茶的时候，你一定会庆幸着自己当初的努力与付出还是非常值得。没有人说不愿意在炎热的夏天呆在办公室里舒服地叹着空调而喜欢顶着炎炎烈日外出跑业务的呵，这恐怕没有人会否定吧？可是，要能坐在办公室里工作，没有一定的能力，你能坐得舒服么？你能坐得稳么？（请注意，本段丝毫没有表明只要学好了英语就啥都有了的意思，相反，该努力学习的其他科目的知识、该辛勤付出的汗水还是要继续的。本段只是强调学好了英语对自己学习以及工作上的帮助的重要性。）

这段时间因为暑假的关系，所以早上上班的时候经常看到有好几个MM在广场大声说英语（颇有我当年的风采呀！ 
每次经过她们身边的时候，总是有那么一种冲动想和她们一起说呀！呵呵，现在的我呢，嗯，就惭愧啦，工作忙，没有怎么说过英语了——这又是一个巨大的托辞，汗颜喔 
），对这些MM表示由衷地敬佩，也对她们勤于练习英语口语的坚持不懈、能勇敢开口说英语精神表示积极的肯定。要说好英语，首先就要敢于开口，语言是用来交流的，不是用来闷的、做哑巴的，如果不能开口进行交流，那么还不如不去学习换做其他事情岂不更好？所以，学习语言，最重要的一步，就是要敢于开口，那怕是错漏百出，都没关系，随着时间的推移，会慢慢有所改进的了。那些证书一大堆、等级高得不能再高的所谓的“英语高手”，其实也就是会考试而已，除此之外，还能跟人沟通么？那些证书掏出来无非是吓唬吓唬国人的，而一旦要跟国外友人沟通，就手忙脚乱、胡话一通的了——这样的人，尤其是国人，还真不是少数啊！学习语言，居然只精于考试而不能说出，实属悲哀呀！ 阅读全文…

One windy spring day,I observed young people having fun using the wind to fly their kites. Multicolored creations of varying shapes and sizes filled the skies like beautiful birds darting and dancing. As the strong winds gusted against the kites，a string kept them in check.
Instead of blowing away with the wind,they arose against it to achieve great heights. They shook and pulled，but the restraining string and the cumbersome tail kept them in tow，facing upward and against the wind.
